Content
The files and links your customers download. Add them once to your content library, then link them to products or to individual orders.
How content works
Content lives in your content library, separate from your products. That means:
- One piece of content can be linked to many products. Update or replace it once, and every product that uses it gets the change.
- One product can have many pieces of content. Customers see a single button that opens a list of everything they can download.
- Content can be linked to a single order instead of a product, for one-off deliveries.
Content only reaches customers once it's linked. Until then, it just sits in your library.
Files and links
| Type | What it is | Storage and bandwidth |
|---|---|---|
| File | A file you upload to the app. The app stores it and delivers it to customers. | Counts toward your storage, and each download counts toward bandwidth. |
| Link | A link to a file you host somewhere else, such as a cloud drive or your own server. | Doesn't use storage or bandwidth in the app. |
Both are protected the same way. Customers only get a working link after clicking Download, and the app checks their access before every download.

📄️ Adding Content
Upload a file or add a link to your content library: which file types are allowed, how large uploads work, and the difference between a name and a display name.
📄️ Linking Content
Attach content to a product or variant so every order gets it, or to a single line item for one order, and what unlinking does.
📄️ Updating Content
Change a piece of content's name, display name or link, or replace a file with a new version, and how that reaches every customer who has it.
📄️ Disabling and Deleting Content
The ways to stop delivering content, from one customer to every order, and what disabling and deleting content do.
📄️ Temporary Download Links
Create a private download link to one of your files that works for 24 hours, to check a file yourself or send it to a customer directly.
📄️ Duplicate Links
Why the app won't link the same content to the same place twice, what counts as a duplicate, and what happens when a line item link becomes a product link.
📄️ Content Status
What each content status means (Available, Access Revoked, Returned, Disabled, Unlinked), and how to read it when more than one applies.
